I had a great time at the Niagara Falls Public Library’s first-ever Grown-Up Book Fair. It brought back some of the nostalgia of those elementary school book fair days, and it was nice to see the library become a gathering place for the afternoon.

There’s something special about talking about books in a library. I had the pleasure of spending an evening at the Fonthill branch of the Lincoln Pelham Public Library talking about Some Sunny Day. Thanks to the library and everyone who came out.

I had a wonderful afternoon at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Book Expo. It was nice to spend some time with readers and writers from the Niagara literary community. I always enjoy being part of gatherings like this.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Some Sunny Day release event at Black Sheep Coffee Roasters. To have familiar faces gathered in one place for the afternoon meant a great deal to me. It was a memorable way to mark the release of this book.

It’s publication day for Some Sunny Day, and it’s always a strange and grateful feeling to send a story out into the world. This book brings Alex and Mae’s journey to its conclusion, and I’m pleased to finally share it with readers. I’m thankful for everyone who’s spent time with these characters along the way.

Well, here it is: the cover for Some Sunny Day. A sincere thanks to Leanne Persichini for her vision and attention to detail. It meant a lot that this cover felt connected to Between Two Seasons, and she carried that through in a thoughtful, seamless way.

Thanks to Leani Lopez for having me on I Got Nothing, a podcast for exhausted writers. We talked about our different writing experiences, finding immersion in the work, and what it’s like to return to a story when you’re writing a sequel.
